村子东距汕头市约15公里，西距炮台约8公里，水陆交通便利。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
辖内面积约6平方千米，总人口5844人，1275户（未注明年份）。耕地约1500亩，鱼池约480亩，蔬菜旱园约250亩，山地约1675亩。[1][2] 村民多外出经商，本地以石材加工为主，是地都石材的龙头产业。[1]
