地理与人口[edit]
村域面积约4.2平方千米，其中耕地约1200亩，山坡地约900亩。[2][3] 人口有4850人（未注明年份）。[1][3]
经济[edit]
2009年，村里工农业合计产值4700万元，村民平均收入5275元，在镇内属中游。[1] 村中约两成村民外出务工或经商。村两委鼓励把闲置土地出租，集中发展特色农业，目前有水产养殖约410亩、甜橘种植39亩。[2][3]
基础设施[edit]
村里筹资修建了长1.5公里的村主道，实现村道硬底化，并配置了照明路灯；同时建成村综合市场，杜绝了乱摆卖现象。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，钱前社区获评「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
