地理与交通[edit]
村子距206国道约1公里，一条25米宽的军码路把村子与榕江边的滨海科技园及原阳光码头连在一起，水陆交通便利。[2] 村域总面积151公顷，其中水面（溪流与鱼池）约12公顷。[2][3]
人口与姓氏[edit]
村子在清代初年形成，居民分属郭、郑、陈、林等十余个姓氏。[2][3] 常驻人口2600人（未注明年份）。[1][3]
产业[edit]
村里的特色产业是青蟹和南美白对虾养殖。[2] 2009年，村里请揭阳市规划建筑设计室协助编制村庄规划，包括发展战略与总体建设方案。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，光裕社区获评「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
