中联社区位于渔湖街道北部，原为中联村。社区北部有环市东路穿行，对外联系便捷，土地资源丰富。社区历来重视教育，博雅地名网称其有「状元村」之名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中联原为中联村，2009年6月整个村委会改制为社区居委会。社区由玉宫、枋桥两个经济社组成，设三个居民小组。[1]

自1977年恢复高考至今，全村考上大中专院校的学生有180多人。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区区域面积830亩，其中耕地420亩，主要作物有香蕉、水稻和柑。境内溪河纵横，有村级公园一个，素有「出水莲花」之称。[1]
