玉城社区是东阳街道下辖的社区，在榕江北河东岸、206国道西侧，与揭东区锡场镇相接，社区总面积约750亩，地势平坦。[1][2]

新城大道穿境而过，交通方便。社区480户，人口约2347人。[1][2]

经济[edit]

社区经济收入主要靠租金，村民收入主要依靠务农、务工。辖区内有十一家企业，以五金、塑胶、钢构为主，其中「铭达化工有限公司」「宝威不锈钢有限公司」为规模以上企业。[2]

文化与治安[edit]

社区经村民自愿捐款和乡贤人士筹资，重新修建了北极古庙，筹资1000多万。[2]

社区组建8人治调队伍，安装16个治安视频监控，对治安死角与高发地段全天监控。[2]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
