砂松社区是东阳街道下辖的社区，位于市区北入口，紧邻206国道北侧。社区约有1360人，335户。[1][2]

人口与经济[edit]

社区占地约407亩，外来人口600多人。集体收入以出租为主；居民多经营小五金家庭作坊，或外出务工、经商，也有人出租自建的铺屋。[2]

基础设施与环境[edit]

社区投入200多万元，把道路改为水泥路，总长约8000米；另投资250万元修建水改工程，解决村民安全饮水的问题；又用300万元把山坡地整平，在上面建起集体厂房7万多平方米，并建停车场2000平方米，配套道路、路灯和排污设施。[2]

另一处山坡经固化和绿化，添置健身器材后成了生态公园。村道两侧栽树种花，全村绿化率据称达50%以上；沟渠与排水排污管道的整治修建达3000多米。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，社区上榜2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
