伯劳村位于揭阳市区西南部，省道236线穿境而过。[1]村子由2个经联社组成，经济以轧钢、五金、注塑为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中于1950年设农会，划入安乐区山南乡；1956年归五屿乡管辖。[1]1958年改为生产队，归山南管区；1959年4月起属山南生产大队。[1]

1961年划入梅云公社山南大队；1970年拆分山南，村子另立伯劳大队；1983年归梅云区山西乡；1986年设伯劳村委会，归梅云街道。[1]

经济[edit]

村中有1105户、5125人，面积1平方多公里（博雅地名网所载，年份未注）。[1]村内的通宇、开盛钢铁、华兴顺塑胶、凯链不锈钢、利得利五金等企业，都是榕城区的纳税大户。[1]2008年，全村工农业总产值超过3亿元，人均收入5060元。[1]

文化[edit]

村子多次被市、区评为文明村和先进党总支（年份未注）。[1]2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，伯劳村先后列入淘宝村名单；广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予伯劳村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]2024年1月，伯劳村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
