内畔村位于揭阳市区西南部，吉荣公路与紫云大道横贯而过，村中河渠交错，水网密布，有江南水乡之貌。[1]村子北面的紫峰山麓建有乡村公园肇迹裔园。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中于1950年设农会，划入安乐区山南乡；1956年归五屿乡管辖。[1]1958年改为生产队，归山南管区；1959年4月起属山南生产大队。[1]

1961年划入梅云公社山南大队；1983年归梅云区山西乡；1986年设内畔村委会，归梅云街道。[1]

经济[edit]

村中耕地700多亩，主要种植荔枝、杨桃、李子等水果，另有野生动物和少量野生药材。[1]

村内现居海外华侨3000多人，人口3974人，近800户（博雅地名网所载，年份未注）。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

2004年，村中于紫峰山北麓兴建乡村公园肇迹裔园。[1]村中修缮了肇迹公厅、娘娘圣庙等建筑。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，内畔村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年10月与2022年10月，村子两次列入淘宝村名单；广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予内畔村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
