梅畔村位于梅云街道中心片，村中有梅云农贸市场和梅云圩场路商业街，是梅云农副产品的集散中心。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年村中设农会，划入安乐区山中乡；1956年归梅云乡管辖。[1]1958年改为生产队，归云光管区；1959年4月起属云光生产大队。[1]

1961年划入梅云公社梅吉大队；1983年村子归梅云区梅畔乡；1986年设梅畔村委会，归梅云街道。[1]

经济[edit]

村内居民698户、3635人，耕地640亩，林地980亩（博雅地名网所载，年份未注）。[1]

据博雅地名网，2008年村中人均收入4818元，工农业总产值2662万元。[1]园区里有十多家五金加工和不锈钢制品厂，已有一定规模。[1]

文化[edit]

2008年，村党总支部被区委评为先进基层党组织。[1]2021年10月与2022年10月，梅畔村两次列入淘宝村名单；广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予梅畔村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
