南厝村在揭阳市区东侧，靠近梅东大桥，北面临榕江北河，是榕东街道的一个行政村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，此地曾称古厝洋陈厝、王厝。[2]

1994年，南厝析出，成立南厝村委会，隶属榕东街道。[1]

人口[edit]

博雅地名网所载，村内约有2000人，住540户，土地面积2000多亩。百度百科则称户籍人口有2800余人，主要姓氏是陈姓与王姓。两处年份均未注明。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村内建成工业片区，玩具微电机的产业链已成型，鞋帽、不锈钢餐具也有企业生产。[1]

文化[edit]

村内有崇园公祠、乐建宗祠，并有省一级学校揭阳华侨中学。百度百科称村中现存陈氏家庙、崇园公祠，保留端午龙舟竞渡与清明祭祖等传统民俗。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年10月和2022年10月，南厝村两次列入淘宝村名单。南厝村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。2025年，南厝村划入榕城区城郊融合类村之列。[1][2]
