彭林村位于榕城区东部，进贤门大道与天福东路贯穿辖区，是榕东街道的一个行政村，村中有清代祠堂等历史建筑。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，村原名平沟林，因地势平坦、沟渠众多而得名，始建于元朝大德元年（1297年）。[2]

1994年，彭林村委会成立，隶属榕东街道。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网载总人口2350人、443户（年份未注明）；百度百科载户籍人口约2000人，姓氏以林姓为主，外来务工人员超过一万人。两处年份不一，并存于此。[1][2]

辖区面积约800亩，工业区占地200亩，区内有微电机、不锈钢制品、玩具、丝花和鞋业等企业50家（年份未注明）。[1]

百度百科称，村中保留清代祠堂、三山国王庙等历史建筑。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，彭林村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，彭林村先后列入淘宝村名单。彭林村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
