西陈村位于榕城区东部，东面与南面都与揭阳经济开发试验区接壤，是榕东街道的一个行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年，西陈析出，成立西陈村委会，隶属榕东街道。[1]

经济[edit]

村区域面积800多亩，户数511户，人口2368人（年份未注明）。以五金餐具与玩具的加工生产为主要经济支柱。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2008年，西陈成为区里的社会主义新农村示范点；次年，村党支部获区委授予先进称号，村庄也获区政府评为尊师重教先进单位。[1]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，西陈村先后列入淘宝村名单。西陈村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
