东乡村位于榕东街道南部，沿莲花大道南段分布，是街道的一个行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1993年，东乡析出，成立东乡村委会，隶属榕东街道。[1]
2007年，东乡被区委定为区级新农村示范点，并被区妇联评为美德在农家活动示范点。[1]
经济[edit]
2008年村工业总产值为2.6亿元。村集体经济收入20多万元，村民人均年收入5350元（年份未注明）。现有工商企业49家，以玩具与玩具微电机为主要产品，东达玩具等6家已具备规模。[1]
村里规划建设占地60多亩的东乡布料市场。[1]
