钟厝洋村位于榕城区东部，北临榕江北河，进贤门大道与天福东路穿村而过，是榕东街道的一个行政村，始建于宋朝末期。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年，钟厝洋析出，成立钟厝洋村委会，隶属榕东街道。村的先后荣誉有揭阳市卫生村、揭阳市共青新村等。[1]

人口[edit]

博雅地名网载总人口3500多人、800多户（年份未注明）；百度百科载人口约3700人，面积约1平方千米。两处年份不同，并存于此。[1][2]

经济[edit]

2008年，村工业产值为2.3亿元，人均年收入4570元。同年村里规划建设了一处工业区，投资3000多万元建成通用厂房10幢，占地约25亩，建筑面积2.5万平方米，已有5家规模企业落户。[1]

百度百科称，村以五金、微电机和玩具制造为主，工商企业有五十多家。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有宋代吉贝浦桥和明代围龙屋等古迹。当地的元宵游灯习俗已列为榕城区非物质文化遗产。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，钟厝洋村先后列入淘宝村名单。钟厝洋村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
