厚宅村位于揭阳市区进贤门大道中段，在榕江北河南岸，是榕东街道的一个行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年，厚宅析出，成立厚宅村委会，隶属榕东街道。[1]

经济[edit]

村辖区面积约30公顷，户数202户，人口超过1000人（年份未注明）。2008年工业生产总值约2亿元，人均年收入约5000元。[1]

村民多从事五金、塑料制品的生产加工，也有纺纱、服务、建筑和交通运输等行业。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年10月和2022年10月，厚宅村两次列入淘宝村名单。厚宅村于2023年5月获广东省爱卫会评定为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
