榕华街道是广东省揭阳市榕城区下辖的街道，位于榕江北河之滨，东与榕东街道接壤，南与新兴街道毗邻，西与中山街道相连，北与东兴街道相接，辖区面积2.43平方千米。街道因市区主干道榕华大道而得名，这条大道纵贯辖区南北。[1][2][4]

截至2020年底，辖区总人口为67047人。街道辖12个社区，其中凤港一地在部分资料中作行政村，见下文。[1][2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

街道设立于1992年5月，基础是原揭阳县治所所在的榕城镇中的进贤、北门两个居委会和椟松大队，街道官网称当时以四村为基础。[1][2] 此前这一带历史上隶属揭阳县，1991年12月起属揭阳市榕城区。[2] 街道办事处1992年6月至1995年3月设在进安街港墘村内，1995年3月迁至椟松路现址。[1][2]

街道名称取自榕华大道，成立时即以路为名。[1][2]

2020年，进东、进安两个居委会的北部划出，组建江南居委会，同年11月成立。[8]

据街道官网，街道辖12个社区，其中包括凤港；博雅地名网与百度百科则作11个社区和1个行政村（凤港村），维基百科的下辖地区列表也以凤港村相称。[1][2][4][5] 三处的数字并不一致，本条以街道官网为准。

人口与党组织[edit]

据街道官网，2020年底辖区有18167户，党员2010人；党组织中党委为9个、党总支为2个，党支部共42个，内含两新组织党支部4个。[1]

第七次全国人口普查结果于2021年6月公布，据此街道人口为5.92万人，在榕城区各街道乡镇中居第4位。[2]

文化与社会事业[edit]

青狮是街道官网列为国家级非物质文化遗产保护项目的传统表演；博雅地名网载，2011年孙淑强狮艺武术馆传承的这项表演进入国家级名录「狮舞（青狮）」。[1][3]

进贤寿星园与各社区的潮剧社团聚拢了不少潮剧爱好者，社区文体节逐年举办，文化站达到省二级文化站水平。[3][1]

辖区有省重点中学揭阳真理中学、北门小学、椟松学校，区图书馆与榕江电影院，幼儿园16所；市人民医院、区妇幼保健院和榕华社区卫生服务中心也设在辖区内。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

古榕武庙亦称北门关帝庙，地处天福路一带。1993年列为揭阳市文物保护单位，2002年列为广东省文物保护单位，2013年列入第七批全国重点文物保护单位。[6][7] 庙前有戏台，庙内木雕构件精美。[6][7]
