美宅村是饶平县海山镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西北部，距镇区2.7公里。[2]据百度百科，村名因依山临海、土地肥沃、海产丰富而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地1951年先归美宅乡，1958年为美宅大队，到1983年才复设美宅乡。[1]1986年有了美宅村委会，1990年改为美宅管理区，1999年重新设立美宅村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

经济以海水养殖和捕捞为主，改革开放后陆续建起养殖虾池、培苗场和造船厂等设施。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，美宅村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]2026年3月，美宅村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
