余厝村是饶平县海山镇下辖的行政村。[1]据百度百科，宋末余氏先祖迁来此地始建村落，最初名为东汕头，后改为现名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地1951年先归余厝乡，1958年为余厝大队，到1983年才复设余厝乡。[1]1986年有了余厝村委会，1990年改为余厝管理区，1999年重新设立余厝村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，余厝村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予余厝村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
