柘林镇是广东省潮州市饶平县下辖的镇，位于饶平县南端沿海，北面与县城所在的黄冈镇相接，以渔业为主。镇西南的柘林港为广东省十大渔港之一。[1][2] 全镇下辖3个社区、4个行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

地名取自海岸边成片生长的柘树。[1] 古代，柘林与大埕、所城合称东界；明清时期隶属饶平县宣化都，当时称柘林栅。[1][2] 1928年起划为柘林区，1948年归入东界区。[1]

1958年6月，大港与大埕两乡组成东界乡，当年九月划入东界公社。1965年，东界公社分出一部分，另建柘林公社。1983年，柘林公社撤销人民公社体制，改建为镇。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域三面环海，全镇总面积约12.3平方公里。[1][2] 柘林湾位于饶平县南部，水域面积约68平方公里，别名「东方夏威夷」，湾内拥有潮州港。[3] 西澳岛在湾的西南，岛上的西澳村属本镇。[4]

人口民族[edit]

第七次全国人口普查结果显示，2021年柘林镇人口约为1.23万人。[1]

经济[edit]

柘林镇是渔业大镇。大小门一带的养殖基地属广东省规模最大的网箱养殖场之列，主要养殖石斑、金鲳、鲈鱼等品种。[1]

2022年10月，柘林镇经广东省农业农村厅评定，列入「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业镇」，行业为水产品加工。[1] 2023年11月，柘林镇入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

据维基百科所载，镇内李、刘、吴、曾、庄等姓氏各有入居的传说。李姓开基祖李宗兴于南宋德佑二年（1276年）南迁入饶，后在柘林开基创业；庄姓先祖于宋末自福建迁入柘林，传裔已逾十六代。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

白雀寺位于柘林镇北约1千米，原名柘林寺，始建于南宋，明万历三十一年（1603年）重建，为两进院式的土木结构建筑。[5] 1988年10月，白雀寺公布为饶平县文物保护单位。[7]

镇风塔位于镇东北，立在风吹岭的西侧山脚。塔身七层八面，建成于元至正十三年（1353年）二月，塔高22米。[1][6] 1989年6月，镇风塔列为省级文物保护单位。[6]
