鸿北村是饶平县所城镇下辖的行政村，位于所城镇政府以西约2公里，北面与福建省交界。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，该村的来历可上溯到宋末，北方战乱中南迁的移民在此定居而成村；此前隶属大港乡，村名取自位于鸿江之北的方位。[2] 博雅地名网载，1951年设鸿北乡，1958年改称鸿北大队，1983年复称鸿北乡；1986年设鸿北村委会，1990年改为鸿北管理区，1999年重新设立鸿北村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]
2022年10月，鸿北村列入2022年淘宝村名单。[1] 2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，颁授方为广东省爱卫会。[1] 2019年9月，鸿北村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
