所城社区是所城镇下辖的社区，即所城居民委员会的辖区，明代大城所城位于其中。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明洪武二十七年（1394年）始建大城所，用以防御倭寇。[1] 此后这一带历经变迁：1951年归所城乡，1958年成立所城大队，1983年又改称所城乡；1986年建所城村委会，1990年改设管理区，1999年方设所城居委会，延续至今。[1]

大城所城位于所城居委会辖区内。[2] 2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，颁授方为广东省爱卫会。[1] 2026年1月，所城社区获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」称号。[1]
