历史沿革[edit]
1951年洋东一地称洋东乡；1958年组建洋东大队；1983年改立乡制，恢复洋东乡；1986年建洋东村委会；1990年变为洋东管理区；1999年村委会重新设立。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
洋东瓦窑位于洋东村的面前山坡，1966年始建，同年投产。窑为圆形平面，以砖条砌成，分主窑与仓库，形成一整套生产流程，占地约1315平方米。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，洋东村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
