径南村位于钱东镇境内，1951年称径南乡，1986年设立村委会。村西南面山坡上有江夏黄公墓，建于宋宣和元年（1119年），为县级文物保护单位。[1][3]
村后下河自然村的莲花山北麓有张夔夫妇合葬墓，建于宋代，同样为县级文物保护单位。[4]
据维基百科所载，明末一户林姓人家从三饶石八迁居径南，此后村中形成陈、林两姓，以林姓为主。[2]
