刘厝埔村位于广东省潮州市饶平县樟溪镇，与内庵、新民、四罗、安溪、乌溪等村相邻。[1]村名源于村中刘姓聚居，据维基百科所载，明成化年间刘氏先祖自饶洋镇迁来建村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据维基百科，明朝成化年间（1465—1487年），刘氏先祖自饶平饶洋镇埔下村石井迁至此地建村，村名因此定为刘厝埔，全村皆为刘姓。[2]

1951年刘厝埔隶属永乐乡；1958年独立为大队；1983年改设为乡；1986年设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予该村「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
