英粉村位于广东省潮州市饶平县樟溪镇，与下院、下广、上广、径北等村相邻。[1]村名的来历，据维基百科所载，与一场降雪有关。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据维基百科，明正德年间，黄冈上林与余厝祠一带的余姓族人迁到樟溪购置田地、山林，在此创立村落。适逢天降瑞雪，雪花飘洒如同筛下的细粉，村名由此定为英粉。[2]

1951年英粉并入新溪乡。1958年，它与下院、上广、下广一同编入新溪大队；1975年独立出来，成为英粉大队；1983年又划归新溪乡。1986年设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年重设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，英粉村入选首批「国家森林乡村」名单。2024年4月，该村入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
