历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地隶元歌都东洋堡，民国时划入浮山区南四乡。1951年为浮山区田中乡；1958年设田中大队，归浮山公社；1961年转隶新圩公社，仍称田中乡，1983年则在新圩区内。[1]

此后，1986年改设田中村委会，1990年划为田中管理区，1999年再次成立田中村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省农业农村厅在2021年9月发布的名单中，该村以百香果列入第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
