历史沿革[edit]

明清两代隶元歌都东洋堡，民国时归浮山区南四乡。1951年改称苗侨乡，隶浮山区；1958年称苗田大队，归浮山公社，1961年又称苗田大队，改属新圩公社。1983年改设苗田乡；1986年成为苗田村委会，1990年为苗田管理区，1999年设苗田村委会至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，该村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
