侨光村为饶平县新圩镇所辖的行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代永乐年间，庄姓人家自潮安县迁来此地开村。明清两代此地隶元歌都东洋堡，民国时归浮山区南四乡。[1]
1951年归第五区田侨乡，1956年改设侨光乡，1958年改称侨光大队，隶浮山公社。1961年划入新圩公社，1983年又为侨光乡，1990年划为侨光管理区，1999年起为侨光村委会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，该村获广东省爱卫会评定为「2021年广东省卫生村」。[1]
