长教村是饶平县东山镇下辖的行政村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明正德九年（1514年），余氏自大埔长教迁来，始建此村[1]。1951年设长教乡；1958年改为长教大队；1983年又称长教乡；1986年成立长教村委会；1990年划为长教管理区；1999年重设长教村委会，延续至今[1]。

姓氏[edit]

据维基百科，长教余氏金溪派是宋代余靖的后代；明代，其后人由大埔西河镇的上黄砂迁来饶平，此后传了三代，通公迁居长教，被奉为长教始祖[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，长教村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」称号；2018年7月，司法部与民政部表彰长教村，使其列为「第七批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」[1]。
