历史沿革[edit]

1951年为湖岭乡；1958年改为湖岭大队；1983年又称湖岭乡；1986年成立湖岭村委会；1990年划为湖岭管理区；1999年重设湖岭村委会，延续至今[1]。

姓氏[edit]

据维基百科，涂孟盛于明景泰三年（1449年）迁来此地，是湖岭村与西山村涂氏的开基祖[2]。

民俗信仰[edit]

村中的伯爷公庙供奉感天大帝[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，湖岭村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」称号；2019年9月，湖岭村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
