浮山社区是饶平县浮山镇唯一的社区，地处镇中心区[1]。

地名由来[edit]

社区所在之地原是一段埠地，位于出钟厝岭西侧山麓的延伸处。旧时黄冈河与大小榕溪在此汇流，冲积出沙洲，沙洲经过长期沉积逐渐隆起，形如小山，地名因此而来[1]。

沿革[edit]

此地1951年为浮山乡，1958年改称浮山大队，1983年复为浮山乡。1986年转为村委会，1990年设管理区，1999年重设村委会，名称沿用至今；博雅地名网所记的沿革与浮山村相同[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予浮山社区「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号[1]。
