中段村位于浮滨镇西部，距镇政府约6公里，原名金缎村，后改称金段，二战时期改称中段。[1]

登瀛楼与竹松楼是清代初期建成的两处潮汕围屋，至今仍在村中。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝中期，杨氏族人在此开基建村；明朝末年建成的毅正祖祠是主要宗祠。[1]

1951年为中段乡，1958年设大队，1983年复为乡，1986年设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年再设村委会。[2]

登瀛楼为方形楼寨，竹松楼为圆形楼寨。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年，该村借单丛茶等特色产业整村脱贫，此前它曾是省定贫困村。[1]

2019年9月，中段村入选的是一份2018年的名单，项目为「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[2]
