历史沿革[edit]

1951年为大门坑乡，1958年为大门坑大队，1983年又恢复乡的建制。[1]

村一级的建制此后数次变动：1986年设村委会，1990年改为管理区，1999年再设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

文化[edit]

2026年1月，大门坑村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1] 在广东省农业农村厅2020年8月发布的名单里，大门坑村因茶叶入选「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，属首批。[1]
