历史沿革[edit]

1951年，吴坑与居豪合并为红光乡，属河西区管辖。1958年，因建汤溪水库，村民迁往移民新圩公社。1960年起，村民陆续回迁重建，改设吴坑大队，隶汤溪农场（公社）。[1]

1983年初，吴坑与居豪乡合并设区（今居豪、吴坑两村）。此后，1986年吴坑成立村委会；1990年改作管理区；1999年又恢复为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
