在城村隶属饶平县三饶镇，村子挨着河口村、溪西村、官田村和楼园村。村内主要农产品有土豆、水果、西洋菜、西兰花，有制绳厂与肉联厂。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记，明成化十三年（1477年）设县治的时候，这里叫元歌都。清代下设若干社，其中有双凤、车田、仁里等。民国时叫阳城镇，解放初年改称文峰区。[1]

1953年县治迁往黄冈，撤区并乡，原城区的农业与居民两部分并入三饶镇。1958年改为在城大队，归三饶人民公社；1962年农业与居民分开，另设居委会；1983年改为在城乡，属三饶区。[2]

1986年设在城村委会，隶属三饶镇；1990年称在城管理区；1999年设立在城村委会，至今沿用。[2]

经济[edit]

2022年10月，在城村被认定为「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，主业为水稻。[1]

文化[edit]

2026年3月，在城村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
