历史沿革[edit]

1951年，水东划入水口乡，隶饶平县第二区（上饶）。到了1958年，组建水东大队，归上饶公社；1973年改由饶洋公社管辖。1983年设水东乡，归饶洋区。[1]

1986年改设水东村，隶饶洋镇；1990年设水东管理区；1999年重设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
