祠北村位于饶平北部山区，辖5个自然村，是一个以农业为主的村落。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年，祠北划入祠西乡，隶饶平县第二区（上饶）。到了1958年，组建祠北大队，归上饶公社；1973年改属饶洋公社；1983年改设祠北乡，归饶洋区。[1]

1986年改设祠北村委会，隶饶洋镇；1990年设祠北管理区；1999年再设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

百度百科称，全村有892户3830人。耕地733亩，其中水田633亩、旱园100亩，另有山地1350亩。下辖五个自然村，分别是关西楼、上田、贵坑楼、停岭村和石楼。[2]

经济[edit]

百度百科称，村内种植荔枝、龙眼、橄榄等水果约100亩。2012年人均纯收入为4469元。[2]
