八瓜洋村位于饶平北部山区，辖洋较埔、八丝楼、瓜园寨3个自然村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年，八瓜洋划入祠西乡，隶饶平县第二区（上饶）。到了1958年，组建祠西大队，归上饶公社；1973年改属饶洋公社；1983年复设祠西乡，归饶洋区。[1]

1986年，八瓜洋改设村委会，隶饶洋镇；1990年设八瓜洋管理区；1999年又设村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

百度百科称，村内有茶叶种植、果蔬种植和陶瓷制作等特色产业，人口1410人（未注年份）。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，八瓜洋村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
