2019年9月，柏嵩村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

2021年，柏嵩村以茶叶入选广东省农业农村厅公布的「第二批广东省一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

华一东华楼位于华一自然村，建于1949年，呈圆形，直径48米，占地约1809平方米，为二进围屋。2011年4月被列为县级文物保护单位。[3]
