薛厝寮村位于饶平县黄冈镇，1951年即有薛厝寮乡，归第九区管辖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年组成薛厝寮大队，归凤江公社；1983年改为薛厝寮乡，归凤洲区；1986年建薛厝寮村委会，归黄冈镇。[1]1990年为薛厝寮管理区，1999年重新设立村委会。[1]

2019年9月，薛厝寮村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2021年12月，该村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
