历史沿革[edit]
1951年归新和乡，1958年并入凤江公社的新和大队。[1]1983年改称蛤蟆石乡，1986年成为蛤蟆石村委会，1990年为蛤蟆石管理区，1999年又为蛤蟆石村委会，2010年才改名和石村委会。[1]
2019年9月，和石村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]2026年1月，该村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
