楚巷社区位于饶平县黄冈镇，中山公园、名贤余氏家庙等古迹在其居委会辖区内。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年，楚巷与山上并称山楚乡。[1]1951年归第六区的山楚乡管辖，1952年从山楚乡分出，定名楚巷，设第二办事处。[1]1958年改为楚巷大队，1983年改设楚巷办事处，1986年为楚巷居委会，1990年为楚巷街道管理办事处，1999年又称楚巷居委会。[1]

中山公园内有黄冈丁未革命纪念亭，名贤余氏家庙也在本社区。[1]2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予楚巷社区「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
