联光社区位于饶平县黄冈镇，1952年属黄冈第六办事处管辖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年归凤红公社，成为联光大队；1959年改归黄冈公社管辖。[1]1983年设联光管理区，1986年建联光居委会，1990年为联光街道管理办事处，1999年重设联光居委会。[1]
