西边村是广东省潮州市潮安区枫溪镇下辖的行政村，在潮汕公路西南侧，是镇域南部的村落之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
西边村明中期创村，初有陈、郑、袁、黄四姓居住。陈姓一支来自凤塘乡；袁姓祖先为宋代兵部尚书袁琛。[1]
明末，郑奕殷由此迁往洋头村。因其故里在洋头之西，便以西边为村名。[1]
1974年以村名设西边大队，1999年改设西边村民委员会。[2]
