英塘村是广东省潮州市潮安区枫溪镇下辖的行政村，位于潮汕公路东侧，抗日时期曾是游击队的秘密据点。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
约在明初，王纯叟自福建莆田到潮州经商，就此定居。当时村中已有沈、郭、蔡、周等姓，现在只剩王姓一族。[1]
村原名羊尾下。据记载，清末出了一位举人王延康，他在本乡门楼题写对联，此后便沿用英塘之名。[1]
古代海阳县通往揭阳的驿道穿村而过，明时曾在此设英塘急递铺。[1]
抗日时期，村中曾是游击队的秘密据点。[1]
1958年的表述，两页不同：村页称当年设英高厦乡政府，合并了高田、厦厝、西边三处；历史沿革列表则说是英高厦大队；1961年拆分后另立英塘大队；1999年改设英塘村民委员会。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，村被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；同年8月，又被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
2022年10月，英塘村入选2022年淘宝村名单。[1]
