白塔村是广东省潮州市潮安区枫溪镇下辖的行政村，属城乡结合区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村头有一座白塔古庙，村名由此而来。[1]

村创于明代，早先名官廖，俗写官料。据说此地古时是官方驿道，设篷棚供行人避风雨，故有此名；但清光绪年间已称白塔，创名时间或更早。[1]

博雅地名网称，1954年白塔曾与田龙、詹厝合设白龙岗乡，1973年拆出。詹厝村页记此事为1956年，两说不同，此处注明。[1][2][3]

1975年，此地设白塔大队；1999年，改设白塔村民委员会。[2]

人口民族[edit]

早年村中有九个姓氏，如今仅余苏姓。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，广东省爱卫会授予白塔村「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]

2019年9月，村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年10月和2022年10月，又两次入选淘宝村名单。[1]
