枫溪镇是广东省潮州市潮安区下辖的镇，位于潮安区中部，东面与潮州新城区相接，北面连着古巷镇，南面连着浮洋镇，西面与凤塘镇接壤。镇政府驻新风路。[1][2]
2023年10月31日，设在此地的潮州市枫溪区撤销，枫溪镇恢复建制，归潮安区管辖。[4]
历史沿革[edit]
地名取自溪流沿岸的枫树。[3]
据百度百科，枫溪镇的建制可追溯到北宋元丰年间（1078～1085年）。1964年，镇从枫溪人民公社中划出；这一公社成立于1958年。1983年改为区，1987年又改回镇。[1]
1991年底，潮州升为地级市，潮安县的建制得以恢复，县委与县政府驻于枫溪镇。1995年12月13日，潮州市委、市政府作出决定，设立枫溪区，其管理机关是一个行政正处级的管理委员会，属市的派出机构，行使县级区职能；枫溪镇由此脱离潮安县。2013年，潮安县撤县设区。[4]
博雅地名网所载的沿革与此不同，它记为1983年改区、1987年改镇，并未提及1995年的设区。两种说法并存，本条分别注明。[3]

博雅地名网称，明朝时海阳县境内的枫溪渐渐发展为新的陶瓷产区，此前潮州一带已有悠久的制瓷历史。[3]枫溪陶瓷的技艺可追溯到唐代的规模化瓷业，据百度百科，已连续传承1300余年；2008年被列为国家级非遗，截至2023年，其年产量占全国50%。[12]

2018年5月，枫溪镇入选「2018-2020年度广东省民间文化艺术之乡」名单，入选项目为瓷塑。[3]
名胜古迹[edit]
镇内的潮州市文物保护单位均于2011年公布。枫溪吴氏家庙位于枫二村，为清代建筑；[6]别驾侍御宗祠、长美古寨和长美百间厝都在长美二村，均为清代建筑；[7][9][10]云隆善堂第一分堂位于山边村，建于1949年；[8]李厝振威第位于李厝村，也是清代建筑。[11]
潮安太史第位于田头，博雅地名网的旅游页称其在田头管理区。主人刘起振乾隆丙辰年（1736年）中进士，府第坐西北朝东南，为斗栱抬梁式木构架。乾隆十六年（1751年）南巡时，年已103岁的刘起振从潮州赴浙江接驾，获赐物并得御题诗；他回乡后在田头建太史第，次年去世。[5]
