历史沿革[edit]
据黄氏族谱，明末创乡。先民来自福建泉州、大埔湖寮与白亭、丰顺汤坑等地，姓氏有黄、吴、肖、徐等。[1]
村原名「樟仔坑」，因村周围多樟树而得名。清末大部分樟树被砍，只剩落叶，遂改称白叶。[1]
1958年命名「白叶大队」，1999年改称白叶村民委员会。[1]
自然与经济[edit]
山地上种水果、木薯和杉树；497亩耕地多种水稻。[1]
村中设有小学和幼儿园各1所，村内有医疗站1所，潭赤公路从村前经过。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，白叶村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
