历史沿革[edit]
明朝中期，魏、许、江、芦、李等姓居民在此建村。过去韩江涨水时四面环水，村子像溪里的一座「屿」；因「屿」和「峙」潮语同音，村名便叫峙溪。[1]
1958年以村命名「峙溪大队」，1999年改称峙溪村民委员会。[1]
自然与经济[edit]
水稻是耕地417亩的主要作物；山地4940亩，多种橄榄与青梅，青梅年产逾5万公斤。[1]
村处集镇，设有小商品市场1个。归赤、潭赤两条公路在村中会合；镇中学设于镇内，村里另有小学1所。[1]
物产[edit]
赤凤红梅为果梅品种，1994年在峙溪村的竹梅实生群体中选出优株，2011年6月经广东省农作物品种审定委员会认定。[2]
