历史沿革[edit]
村落在清康熙年间（1662—1722年）建立。相传村西北的江中有一块巨石，随水起伏沉浮，村因此得名。[1]
1949年前旧称「浮石坑」，建国后定名「浮石」；1999年，村改设为浮石村民委员会。[1]
自然与经济[edit]
耕地202亩，以水稻为主；山地3478亩，主要种植松树、黄竹、茶和杂果。[1]
村内设小学一所，照明已通到全村各户，归赤公路从村前经过。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年8月，浮石村被认定为「2020年广东省森林乡村」[2]；同年12月，又获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
